Hello Softvoile,

Would it be possible to have in a future version the possibility to drag an item from the String Selection Dialog Box and paste the corresponding text in another application by dropping the selected item at some self chosen place in that application?

Thanks in advance

Hello, Paul

Do you think this is really needed feature? Is this way more handy than paste item directly?

When working in a specific application, I agree with you that pasting directly is most handy and quick. But when working with several application 'simultaneously' the application in which I want to paste the text into is not always active. In such cases dragging and dropping would be nice. I would describe this flexibility is a 'nice to have'.

Regards,
Paul

Hi Softvoile,

I just bought my copy of FlashPaste, and was hoping to be able to cut/past directly from ClipDiary into FlashPaste,... or at least cut/paste from the clip board history the same way. Would you please consider doing this in the next version.

I understand that the way to get data into FlashPaste is by using the 'F3' key and pasting it that way. But, have the ability to drag and drop from the ClipHistory and ClipDiary would be greatly appreciated.

I support this feature totally.

Let me know.

Otherwise, this is a great program. Both of them. Keep up the great work.

Fred

Hi

The fastest way to add data from Clipdiary to Flashpaste is
1. Copy it from Clipdiary to the clipboard
2. Go to Flashpaste and press F3. Flashpaste will automatically fill needed text fields from clipboard data

I don't think that a lot of people often need such functionality. So, I can't promice to add it. But I'll try to investigate how much time would it take to implement this.
