Why does v2.3 trial copy ask me for serial #?

Why does v2.3 trial copy ask me for serial #?

After installing 2.3 on my XP machine, I click on the Flashpaste shortcut on my desk top.

I then get a box that asks me to enter my serial #.

Since I haven't purchased the product yet, and I just want to eval the macro feature at this point, I don't have a serial #.

If I choose cancel, all goes away.

If I choose registration, it says I need to restart flashpaste. When I restart it, it asks me for the serial # again.

If I choose paste, nothing happens.

How can I evaluate v2.3 without a registration key?

Hello,

I think you installed trial version some time ago (maybe v2.0 or 2.1) and trial information was saved in your system. E-mail me and I'll send you time-limited key.
