Its a very good software, but i am having real bad problems in using it right now. whenever i put either simple text to paste, or a macro like -
username%Control(TAB)%pass

it either just sends the keystrokes to god knows where - nothing is inputted to the active window
or
sometimes just inputs only - pass

it gives random response each next time - sometimes enters pass but most times inputs nothing.

using v5.7 - tried both portable and installer - both have same probs.

tried changing settings too - like - compatibility delay reduced to 100ms from default 100ms (200ms too was giving probs) and also - emulate SHIFT + INSERT instead of ctrl + v. no satisfactory results.

using xp sp3

i would like to request this feature added -

add the delay macro too - like that i may be able to do this -

delay 1second - send username - delay 1second - send TAB key - delay 1second - send password.

i and others will need it for not just this but for many cases.

Flashpaste really doesn't work in some complex systems which uses its own (non-standard) controls for input text or complex hierarchy of
child windows. In what application you are trying to paste text? Does it work with notepad for example?


End second, how do you select string to paste? There is few ways to do this:
1. Hot-Key to open the String selection Dialog Box.
2. Left click at the tray icon to open the String selection Dialog Box.
3. Right click at the tray icon to show the tray menu to select string.

Last way often does not work. If the tray icon is hidden Flashpaste can't correctly determine the target window.

There is such feature inmacro %Control(...)%

Pause command: @time - @250, @1000. Specify the length of pause in milliseconds after the @ character.

the app i am trying to do paste the text or password is general only - firefox, + also in notepad, I get same errors - nothing is pasted.

"Last way often does not work. If the tray icon is hidden Flashpaste can't correctly determine the target window" - i like to use the mouse only and not keyboard hotkeys even for opening the string box - is there any way to avoid keyboard ? - just use mouse ?

Sorry dont tell me to try myself this left click thing as my trial has ended now. can u answer ?

Buying query - is the license tied to the user - means a user can install and activate flashpaste on say his 3 pcs or laptops - all of his own - note that the pcs and laptops will be of his won and not even family member ?

Very strange maybe some program block Flashpaste at your system? maybe firewall or some other...



Thereotically it should work in this way under Windows XP, this problem is exist only under Windows 7.
Also you can use drag and drop in order to paste text - just drag needed string from Flashpaste and drop into target fields. But this wan't work with %Control(TAB)%, only for simple text.



Yes you can use is in such way, but you need Extended license for this.

If we have purchased a personal license before and want to get some licenses now, then can we upgrade that previously bought flashpaste personal license now to an extended license ? At not a full cost of $39 but lower ?
