Hello, Simus1

(2) What exactly are the limitations to the size of the notes and subnotes? For example, would I be able to store several 30 to 100+ page legal opinions and statutes in the Flashnote database?

Yes. Flashnote uses SQLite database engine that supports databases up to 2 terabytes in size.

Never mind about #1 above.

Instead of "closing" Flashnote from the top left icon (or using hotkey Alt + F4), if I "exit" the program from File option and then try to backup flashnote\notes.db, the backup is successful.

I am still curious, however, about question #2.

Thanks.

Hello, dittoes on this very useful product. It makes notepads & scratchpads almost completely obsolote!

2 questions, please.

(1) When I run my backup program, Karen's Replicator, for the C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\flashnote\ folder, I get the following error message:

03/26/2006 08:59:30 AM: Error: Could Not Open Source File (File Possibly In Use/Locked, or Name Contains Unicode Character(s)): C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\flashnote\notes.db

The only way I can backup notes.db successfully is if I start Windows Task Manager or my other process manager program and manually end FlashNote.exe process. Closing the program is not sufficient. I'm wondering if there is an easier way to do this backup.

(2) What exactly are the limitations to the size of the notes and subnotes? For example, would I be able to store several 30 to 100+ page legal opinions and statutes in the Flashnote database?

Thank you very much.
