ABSOLUTELY AGREE HERE!
When did this change? I have wanted this for a long time, but Nikolay-- obviously, in active development constantly-- puts so much work into the software he develops for us, i couldn't bring myself to ask for more.
If Flashnote has a global search-- I must update my software-- last i tried, it was doing note-by-note.
By the way-- I see FlashPASTE now has a /Sort items/ option. It will sort recursively, one a singular plane (i.e. "just this level"... i forget the exact rhetoric of the dialogue), and other options-- i wanted to sort my FlashPASTE items a particular manner, and i had no problem w/ the available options. Quite pleasing.
I realize i'm getting off-topic, but... it's /almost/ on topic:
From a developer perspective, I figure "Global" search, and "Sort", as in my reference to FlashPASTE, must share some of the same code/ SQL. I've not tried Sort in FlashNOTE, nor Search in FlashPASTE: I wonder if each application shares these search / sort features. I didn't know FlashPASTE did the sort, until a whimsical trial this week. I have, however, spent a lot of time in FlashNOTE, and i'm quite used to a lot of manual work there. It's just fine, of course. I love that little app!

best regards!
P.S. as usual, sidetracked from my original intent: i hope to post an inquiry in the FlashPASTE support forum, by the days end. agh! so many windows open; so many browser tabs; so much code... aahhhh!! hehe... just another Day in the Life.
