Hello

In new version you can disable this behaviour.

Hello

Probably you are right. I'll add such option.

Yes, I did notice that the text was "highlighted" and that all one needed to do is begin typing.

However, it is a bit counter-intuitive to have the cb contents automatically pasted into the new note - especially since, like many other folks, I work with several windows open, cutting and pasting from among several different apps and not necessarily using Flashnote as a "go-between."

As I mentioned in my original post, perhaps an option to allow users to toggle that function on and off could be offered.

Just a suggestion.

All of that aside: Flashnote is one of my favorite apps. Thanks.

Hello

Yes, I have added this behaviour in version 3.3. But all pasted text is selected in the new note after its creation, so if you don't need this text, just start typing your note. First keypress will delete all pasted text, I think that should not be problem.

First,
I love Flashnote... it's great for making quick notes of any kind.

I upgraded to ver. 3.4 because of the "drag and drop" feature anywhere in the note-tree. Makes it so easy to move child notes among the various parent notes. Absolutely great feature.

I went back to using ver. 3.1 however because now whenever I create a new note (either top level or child note) whatever is in the Windows clipboard is automatically pasted into the note's "content" window. I don't know if it's a bug or if it was added by design.

Even though I do use Flashnote for some cutting and pasting of text, most of the time I just need a blank page to "jot" something down and don't necessarily need (or want) what's in the windows cb inserted into Flashnote. When I do, I can just use CTRL-C/CTRL-V.

Maybe the option to toggle off/on the automatic adding of the windows clipboard contents could be added. That would give the end user the choice.
