Topic review - data loss with ver3 (earlier version of notes)

Hello ILIANos

Flashnote can import the database, but can't import the old settings So, if you store database in some other place, not in the /Application Data/Flashnote/ folder, you should manually specify path to it to get old notes in new version.

I think I should write this in the main post about 3.x. Thanks

Hello! (think I don't have to mention that I love flashnote like everyone else in his first post)

When I installed the new version (3) I found very old notes, I cannot remember which file he could have used for backup, but...

While writing this post I've found the solution  :

The program used the usual path where the .db file is stored, but I had set another path which was not considered in the update!

Now I have set the "old new path" and got my notes back, but would it be possible to include in the update, that the current database is used?

EDIT: Now I see there has already been the hint, that "C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\ApplicationData\flashnote\" should be backed up... reading helps
