There are two ways:
1. If you have any strings item in the root folder, select any from them, then press F3 and add a new item. It will be added in the root folder.
After that you can use the Move Down and Move Up buttons.

2. Add new item to any other Folder as sub-item then use drag&drop to move it in the root folder - drop it at free white space below last item in the root folder.

I have made a (main) root directory with a number of maps. I have tried to add a few new maps to the main root directory, however the new maps are added to a map as a sub-map. I have tried to move the sub-maps to the main root with "drag and drop", however this is impossible. Do you have a solution for this problem?
