I had formatted my box and reinstalled xp sp2 and flashnote 3b but used my old notes2.db file which is stored in E:

Now, I had installed all that in some profile of xpsp2 as it installed, and next day, when I log in to Administrator's profile in which I use my box, I found all settings at blank. Anyway, instead of reinstalling everything, I created the shortcut etc and redid the settings in each program.

After that, whenever my system boots, I get a message:

can't open file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Flashnote\insert.cfg' (error 2: the system cannot find the file specified.)

Then, I OK the message, the flashnote icon is very much there in systray and it keeps operating without any problem with my database.

The insert.cfg is indeed not there in the said folder. How to create it there or download from somewhere and put it there.

You can re-install Flashnote or just create an empty insert.cfg file in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Flashnote\
